Abstract

In recent years, major advances have been made in the management of cardiac amyloidosis, leading to notable improvement in its prognosis. Advancements in diagnostic methodologies have also facilitated the early identification of amyloidosis, unveiling a higher prevalence of the condition than previously estimated. Amyloidosis is a systemic disease and can affect organs other than the heart, so it is important for every doctor to know the red flags of the disease. Early detection of amyloidosis gives patients better treatment options and therefore a better prognosis.
