Abstract
Functional neuroimaging has opened up a new research field in neuroscience and has broadened the understanding of how cortical functions are organized in normal brain and in pathology. Experimental work in this field presumes cooperation of different specialists as well as the knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology. Abundant original literature published on functional neuroimaging confirms the popularity of neuroscientific studies in this field.
