Abstract

Angiosarcomas are aggressive and rare soft tissue tumours originating from the vascular endothelium. Although they primarily occur on the skin of the head and neck, they can also develop elsewhere in the body. One of the rarest localizations is bony structures. The following case
describes the journey of a 63-year-old man with back pain, from consulting a general practitioner to receiving a rare diagnosis and undergoing post-chemoradiotherapy monitoring. This case underscores the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges of skeletal angiosarcomas and emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of such rare malignancies.
