The risk of complications associated with invasive aesthetic procedures is increased during active anticancer treatment; therefore, conservative and skin barrier supportive approaches should be preferred. After completion of cancer therapy, carefully timed and individualized aesthetic interventions may support patient rehabilitation and psychosocial adaptation.
