Increasingly more younger women are infected (the incidence has increased in their age group). In the case of cervical cancer it is possible to use screening and thus to reduce the risk for developing this type cancer.<br \/>\nIn 2003 a pilot project on early detection of cervical cancer was launched in Estonia. The goal\u00a0 of the project was the diagnosis and treatment of intraepithelial neoplasia on the basis of a study group.
