Here we present a case report of a 70-yearold female patient who initially presente with a suspected stroke. Further clinical investigation detected typical features of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. The patient\u2019s condition worsened gradually, and she died five months after hospitalization. This case report demonstrates that differential diagnosis of a rapidly progressive dementsia might be rather complex and challenging.
