Abstract

Leadless pacemakers are a novel option for treating patients with bradycardia and conduction disorders. In the coming years, these devices are unlikely to completely replace traditional transvenous pacemakers; however, they represent an important addition in the management of patients with high infection risk , and those with potentially problematic venous access who require a pacemaker.
