Abstract

IAC-CPR is a resuscitation technique, including not only chest but also abdominal compressions, which has potentially different haemody namic advantages. Despite the fact that the resuscitation guidelines 2015 provides no recommendation regarding IAC-CPR, the technique might be useful in some cases. For example, during cardiac arrest resuscitation in a hospital environment, when carried out by a trained personnel, in absence of chest recoil after compression. Currently there is an insufficient amount of clinical data to back its routine use.
