Abstract

In the paper we present an example of using a descriptive epidemiological method in the investigation of outbreaks of diarrhocal infections. The most important factors to be characterized in outbreak research are time, place and person. The outcome of the analysis is an important source for management of health protection activities. The present overview is based on the official statistic of the Health Protection Inspectorate on outbreaks of diarrhocal infections.
